Joe Evans is an award-winning Welsh documentary filmmaker. He has created, directed, and produced films and series for major broadcasters and streamers, including Netflix, HBO, National Geographic, BBC Studios, CNA, and Discovery. 

Joe is the creator-director of Netflix docuseries Midnight Asia: Eat • Dance • Dream. He won Best Direction (Non-Fiction - Taiwan) at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for his HBO original The World Behind The Teenage Psychic.

His commercial work includes high-rating documentaries for international brands such as Accenture, Changi Airport, FPT, Mitsubishi, Ping An, Singapore Airlines, Subaru, and Taiwan Tourism.

A graduate of the International Film School of Wales, Joe spent 12 years in Singapore between 2011 and 2023, filming extensively across Asia. He is now based in South Wales, UK, and continues to work internationally.
